Larisa Sitar in group exhibition at Kunsthal Aarhus showcasing young international artists
We are delighted to announce Larisa Sitar's participation in the group show Rhizome – Network Without Center Point at Kunsthal Aarhus alongside 10 other emerging international artists from Denmark, Germany, China, and South Korea. The exhibition "invites young artists from all over the world (...) to grow differently, rhizomatically, and to connect with others in a nonhierarchical manner."
On view until the 15th of September, the exhibition marks the first presentation of Sitar's practice in Denmark, which explores the evolution of social and cultural values in relation to political movements, socio-economic contexts, technological advances, and our connections with the natural world. Larisa Sitar (b. 1984) currently lives and works in Bucharest, and is the 2023 recipient of the prestigious KVOST scholarship in Berlin and the Claus Michaletz Preis 2023.
